U.K. Stocks Decline for Third Day; FTSE 100 Erases Earlier Gains

U.K. stocks fell for a third day, erasing earlier gains, as energy and financial shares retreated.
The FTSE 100 Index slid 15.93 points, or 0.3 percent, to 5,661.82 at 9:13 a.m. in London, bringing this week’s decline to 1.8 percent.
