UN Carbon Open Interest for December Falls to Least Since May 17

Open interest in United Nations Certified Emission Reduction futures for December declined to the lowest in almost six months on London’s ICE Futures Europe exchange.

Open positions in the benchmark UN offset contract fell 4.4 percent to 96.8 million metric tons yesterday, according to ICE Futures data compiled by Bloomberg. That’s the lowest since May 17.
