Portugal’s DECO Reports 25% Rise in Over-Indebtedness Cases

The number of individuals receiving help for over-indebtedness from the Portuguese Association for Consumer Protection rose 25 percent in the ten months through October from the same period a year earlier.
A total of 4,525 people are being assisted by the consumer protection group, up from 3,628 in the previous year, DECO said today in an e-mailed report.
