N.Z. Proposes Restrictions on Some International ETS Units

New Zealand is proposing to exclude some international Kyoto units from its emissions trading scheme, Climate Change Minister Tim Groser said in a statement today. The government plans to exclude units from HFC-23 and N20 destruction projects and large-scale hydroelectricity projects from Jan. 1 or June 1 next year, according to the statement on its website.
