Romania May Have New IMF, EU Accord From February, Mediafax Says

Romania will negotiate a new accord with the International Monetary Fund and the European Union in January and an agreement may be approved in February, Finance Minister Florin Georgescu said today, according to Mediafax.

The eastern European country plans to complete a current precautionary accord in January, two months earlier than an initial deadline as some of the conditions will probably be included in the new agreement, Mediafax reported.
