Montenegrin President Set to Ask Djukanovic to Return as Premier

Montenegro’s President Filip Vujanovic will ask ally Milo Djukanovic to return to head the government of the smallest former Yugoslav republic as it looks to join the European Union, according to a statement on the president’s website.

Djukanovic, 50, who has previously served as premier and president of the Adriatic nation, will replace Igor Luksic to form a Cabinet after his Democratic Party of Socialists won last month’s parliamentary elections.
