Spain, Italy Bonds Rise as Spanish 10-Year Yield Falls to 5.71%

Spanish and Italian government bonds advanced, pushing the yield on Spain’s 10-year security down five basis points to 5.71 percent at 9:47 a.m. London time.

The rate on similar-maturity Italian debt also declined five basis points, or 0.05 percentage point, to 4.95 percent.
