U.K. Pound Strengthens to One-Month High of 79.86 Pence Per Euro

The pound advanced a fourth day versus the euro, appreciating 0.2 percent to 79.91 pence at 8:06 a.m. London time, and reaching 79.86 pence, the strongest level since Oct. 2.

The U.K. currency was little changed versus the dollar at $1.6006.
