Italian Government Bonds Rise as 10-Year Yield Declines to 4.97%

Italian government bonds advanced, pushing the yield on the 10-year security down two basis points, or 0.02 percentage point, to 4.97 percent at 8:09 a.m. London time.

Two-year yields fell three basis points to 2.31 percent, while the rate on similar-maturity Spanish notes was little changed at 3.09 percent.
