Mexichem May Complete Deals to Acquire Two Companies Soon

Mexichem SAB, the chemical maker that has bought more than 15 companies since 2007, may land two more acquisitions as soon as this quarter, an executive said.

Reaching an agreement on both transactions, one in the U.S. and one in South America, is not certain, Ricardo Gutierrez, president of the company’s executive committee, said today in an interview in Mexico City. “We’re competing with other companies to complete the acquisitions,” he said.
