Suzlon’s Repower Wins 25.6-Megawatt Turbine Order in Romania

Repower Systems SE, a German unit of India’s wind-turbine maker Suzlon Energy Ltd. (SUEL), won an order to supply a power-plant project in Romania.

Repower signed a contract with a unit of WSB International GmbH to supply eight of its 3.2-megawatt machines for a project near Margineni in the northeast of the country, Repower said today in an e-mailed statement. The wind farm will be built and commissioned by autumn next year, it said.
