JX Energy Shuts Negishi No. 1 Crude Unit for Planned Maintenance

JX Nippon Oil & Energy Corp. shut the No. 1 crude distillation unit at its Negishi refinery for scheduled maintenance, a company official, who asked not to be identified citing internal policy, said by phone from Tokyo.

The 120,000 barrel-a-day unit is scheduled to remain shut until Nov. 16.
