Juventus Beats Napoli 2-0 in Serie A; Bayern Sets German Record

Juventus beat Napoli 2-0 in a matchup of unbeaten teams in Italian soccer’s Serie A, while Bayern Munich set a German record with its eighth straight win.

Jose Caceres and Paul Pogba scored in the final 10 minutes as defending champion Juventus won for the seventh time in eight games to move three points ahead of Napoli.

Thomas Mueller scored twice as Bayern routed Hamburg 5-0 to set the Bundesliga mark for wins to open a season. Second-place Frankfurt beat Hannover 3-1, while Schalke moved into third place by beating two-time defending champion Dortmund 2-1.
