Head of Mexican Oil Workers Union Re-Elected, Reforma Reports

Mexican oil workers union head Carlos Romero Deschamps was re-elected as head of the group to serve through 2018, the Reforma newspaper reported.
The union boss also is a senator with the Institutional Revolutionary Party, known as the PRI. Incoming Mexico President Enrique Pena Nieto, also from that party, has called overhauling the state-run oil industry his “signature issue.”
