Lula Urges Venezuela’s Chavez to Groom Successor, La Nacion Says

Former Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva urged Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez to begin grooming a successor, La Nacion reported.
Lula, who is recovering from treatment for cancer of the larynx, said in an interview during a visit to Argentina that democracy is an exercise in alternating power among different sectors of society, Buenos Aires-based La Nacion reported.
