Jeter Breaks Ankle in Yankees 6-4 MLB Playoff Loss to Tigers

New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter broke his left ankle in the 12th inning of the team’s 6-4 Game 1 playoff loss to the Detroit Tigers.

Game 2 of baseball’s best-of-seven American League Championship Series will be held later today at Yankee Stadium.
