Czech Republic Agrees to Sell Military Jets to Iraq, CTK Says

The Czech Republic agreed to sell 28 L-159 military jets to Iraq for about $1 billion, CTK reported, citing Defense Minister Alexander Vondra.

All but four of the aircraft will be new, the Prague-based newswire said. The Defense Ministry will provide the four planes that are used, it said.
