CEZ Expects EU to Rule on Antitrust Within 2 Months, CTK Says

CEZ AS (CEZ) expects the European Commission to decide whether it will accept the company’s proposals on settling an antitrust probe by the end of November or early December, CTK reported yesterday, citing Chief Executive Officer Daniel Benes.

CEZ offered to sell as many as five coal-fired plants by the end of the year to put an end to the EC investigation into alleged anti-competition practices.
