German Stocks Advance; Adidas, Lanxess Lead Gains, Siemens Falls

Germany’s benchmark stock index, the DAX Index, rose 0.4 percent at 10:19 a.m.
The index of 30 companies traded on the Frankfurt Stock exchange gained 28.06 to 7,233.29. Among the 30 stocks in the index, 26 rose and 4 fell.
Adidas AG (ADS) rose 2.3 percent while Lanxess AG (LXS) advanced 1.4 percent. Siemens AG (SIE) was the biggest decliner, falling 1.1 percent.
