NFL Keeps Season Ban for Vilma in Saints Bounty; He Retains Pay

The National Football League maintained a ban for linebacker Jonathan Vilma for the rest of the season in a case involving bounties by players on the New Orleans Saints. It said Vilma could keep the pay he’s earned for the weeks since the original penalties were overturned.
