Bahrain Plans to Pump $491 Million Into Gulf Air, Al-Watan Says

Bahrain’s cabinet is seeking parliamentary approval to inject 185 million dinars ($491 million) into the troubled state-owned carrier Gulf Air, Al- Watan reported, citing members of the parliament.

The cabinet and parliament will hold a meeting today to discuss a rescue plan for the airline as its losses mount, the newspaper said.
