Australia Beats England to Retain Women’s Twenty20 Cricket Title

Australia beat England by four runs in the final of the ICC Women’s World Twenty20 cricket competition in Colombo, Sri Lanka, to retain its title.

Jess Cameron scored 45 runs as Australia totaled 142-4 in its 20 overs. England captain Charlotte Edwards made her team’s highest score of 28 as it ended on 138-9. Jess Jonassen took 3- 25.

Later today host Sri Lanka plays West Indies in the final of the men’s competition in Colombo.
