Vestas Gets 36-Megawatt Order For Three Wind Farms in France

Vestas Wind Systems A/S (VWS), the world’s biggest wind turbine maker, said it got a 36-megawatt order from Ostwind International for the Atrebatie project in northern France.
Construction of the project is scheduled to start in the final quarter of 2012, and is comprised of three wind farms, each with four V90 3-megawatt turbines, Vestas said today in a statement on its website. The sale includes a 10-year service and maintenance agreement, with an optional 15-year extension, Aarhus, Copenhagen-based Vestas said.
