Romania Utilities Seek Southern Water, Sewage Network Upgrades
Romanian utilities are seeking bids to upgrade water and sewage infrastructure in the south of the country for contracts valued at 180.5 million lei ($51 million).
Hidro Prahova SA is waiting for bids until Nov. 27 to award a 74.5 million-lei contract to extend the sewer network in Banesti, Campina and Valenii de Munte, according to a European Union procurement document published today. Bidders can also submit offers until Nov. 26 for a contract valued at 82.4 million lei to upgrade the sewage system in Baicoi, Plopeni and Urlati, another Hidro Prahova document showed.
Apa Service SA, a water utility from Giurgiu county, is seeking bids until Dec. 3 to expand and upgrade water and sewage coverage in Bolintin Vale in a 23.6 million-lei contract, a EU procurement document also showed.
