Euro Extends Gain Versus Dollar as Draghi Says Euro Irreversible

The euro extended an advance against the dollar after European Central Bank President Mario Draghi said the common currency is “irreversible.”

The 17-member currency strengthened 0.6 percent to $1.2981 at 1:37 p.m. London time. It rose 0.7 percent to 102.05 yen.
