CTC Media’s TV Weekly Audience Falls in Russia, TNS-Global Says
CTC Media Inc. (CTCM)’s CTC television channel saw its average daily share of Russian viewers 18 years and older fall in the week to Sept. 30, according to TNS-Global.
The share of Russian viewers aged 18 years and older for CTC TV, the Nasdaq-listed Russian media company’s biggest source of revenue, shrunk to 5.6 percent in the week to Sept. 30 from 5.7 percent in the week to Sept. 23, TNS-Global said by e-mail today. CTC remained the sixth most-watched TV channel in the week to Sept. 30.
CTC’s average daily audience among viewers 4 years old and over rose to 6.6 percent in the week to Sept. 30 from to 6.5 percent the previous week, the data show. CTC remained the fifth most-watched TV channel among viewers 4 year and over in the week to Sept. 30, the researcher said.
NTV Television, Rossiya-1, Pervyi Kanal and TNT TV were the top four channels in both age categories, the data show. Fifth Channel was the fifth-most watched among viewers 18 years and older.
