Berry Plastics Said to Price IPO at Low End of Marketed Range

Berry Plastics Group Inc., the packaging company owned by Apollo Global Management LLC (APO), priced the shares in its initial public offering at $16 each, said a person with knowledge of the matter.
The company sold 29.4 million shares, said the person, who asked not to be identified because the information hasn’t been made public. Berry had offered the shares for $16 to $18 apiece, according to regulatory filings.
