U.K. Seen by Met Office With Above-Average Rainfall in September

The U.K. had 112.4 millimeters (4.4 inches) of rain in September, 117 percent of the long-term average, the Met Office said.

Temperatures were about 0.7 degrees Celsius (1.3 degrees Fahrenheit) below the 30-year average, and the country had its 10th sunniest September on record, that national weather forecaster said today in a provisional report on its website.
