Peru’s Consumer Price Index Rose 0.54 Percent in September

Peruvian consumer prices rose 0.54 percent in September, the national statistics agency said.
Prices increased 3.74 percent from the same month a year earlier, the agency said in an e-mailed statement. The median estimate of analysts surveyed by Bloomberg was for a monthly increase of 0.45 percent and a yearly rise of 3.62 percent.
The consumer price index is based on an agency survey of establishments in the Lima Metropolitan area.
