Canada's Net Foreign Debt Increased in Second Quarter on Stocks

Canada’s net international debt increased in the second quarter as stock prices declined, government figures show.

The shortfall widened by C$23.4 billion ($23.8 billion) to C$241.6 billion in the second quarter, Statistics Canada said in Ottawa today.
