Yankees and Orioles Win, New York Maintains 1-Game AL East Lead

The New York Yankees won 11-4 at Toronto to maintain their one-game lead atop the American League East division over the Baltimore Orioles, who got a first-inning grand slam from Ryan Flaherty in a 9-1 win against the visiting Boston Red Sox.

Russell Martin hit a three-run homer for the Yankees, his 20th of the season.

The Yankees (91-66) and Orioles (90-67) each have five games left in the regular season.
