South Africa Wins Toss, Bats Against Pakistan in World Twenty20

South Africa won the toss and will bat first against Pakistan in their opening Super Eight game at cricket’s World Twenty20 championship in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Australia meets India later today in the second game in Group 2, also in Colombo.

There two groups of four in the Super Eight with the top two teams in each advancing to the semifinals. Sri Lanka beat New Zealand and West Indies defeated defending champion England in yesterday’s Group 1 openers.
