Corn Futures Rebound on CBOT After USDA Reports Inventory Drop

Corn futures for December delivery jumped 3.2 percent to $7.39 a bushel at 7:36 a.m. on the Chicago Board of Trade, after the U.S. Department of Agriculture reported a 12% drop in domestic inventories as of Sept. 1 from a year earlier. Before the report, the price was down as much as 1.6 percent.
