Canada Suspends License of XL Foods Alberta Meat Plant

Canada’s Food Inspection Agency has suspended the license of an XL Foods meat plant in Alberta until it takes actions to deal with contamination.
The decision against the plant in Brooks, Alberta, was announced at a press conference by Brian Evans, the country’s chief veterinary officer. He said ongoing testing showed bacteria in the facility.
