Xylem Inc., the water technology company spun off from ITT Corp. (ITT) last year, won a wastewater treatment plant supply contract in Brazil.
The White Plains, N.Y.-based company gave no terms for the sewage plant contract to supply treatment technology and systems that will serve 60,000 people in Campo Grande in the Mato Grosso state of Brazil.
The contract for the Imbirussu wastewater plant was awarded by Aguas Guariroba, part of the Equipav group, Xylem said in a statement.
