Saudi Arabia Extends Bid Deadline for Air License, Al-Awsat Says

Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for Civil Aviation extended a deadline until next month for airlines bidding for a license to operate local and international flights from the kingdom, Asharq al-Awsat said, citing Prince Fahad bin Abdullah, president of the authority.

The extension was granted at the request of the companies bidding for the license, the newspaper reported.
