Northern Ireland Police Say Man Injured in Paramilitary Attack

Northern Ireland police said a man in his 30s was shot in the leg in a “paramilitary style” attack in west Belfast late yesterday.

The man was wounded in the lower left leg in the Andersonstown area at about 10 p.m. local time and taken to hospital for treatment, the Police Service of Northern Ireland said in an e-mailed statement today.
