Oil Extends Gain in New York, Rises 1.3% to $93.65 a Barrel

Oil for November delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange extended gains, advancing as much as $1.23, or 1.3 percent, to $93.65 a barrel. The contract traded at $93.62 at 1:22 p.m. London time.
