Pakistani Markets, Banks to Shut Tomorrow for National Holiday

Pakistan’s central bank, commercial banks and stock exchange will be closed tomorrow after the government declared a public holiday to protest the anti-Islam film that has triggered demonstrations across the Muslim world.
The central bank, stock exchanges and businesses will reopen on Sept. 24 after the weekend, according to separate statements from the State Bank of Pakistan and the Karachi Stock Exchange today.
