South Korea, Japan to Discuss Joint LNG Purchasing, Kogas Says

South Korea and Japan plan to hold a meeting to discuss details on joint purchases of liquefied natural gas supplies.

“This is a government-to-government thing,” Oh Seung Hwan, general manager for the international cooperation team at Korea Gas Corp. (036460), said in an interview in Tokyo. “The second meeting was held in April and the third meeting will be held to talk about how we do this. But the timing and occasion are not set yet.”
