Petronas Unit Contracts Eurasia Drilling Rig for Caspian

Petronas Carigali, a unit of Petroliam Nasional Bhd., hired Eurasia Drilling Co.’s Saturn offshore drilling rig for three years starting Jan. 9.

The deal builds on an existing relationship with the Malaysian oil producer in the Caspian Sea, according to a statement from Eurasia, a Moscow-based oil services company.
