Telefonica Czech Unit Facing $164 Million Anti-Monopoly Lawsuit
Telefonica Czech Republic AS (SPTT), the country’s biggest telecommunications company, said it is facing a lawsuit over alleged abuse of its dominant market position.
Ceske Radiokomunikace AS, an operator of wireless networks, sued the company over a so-called margin-squeeze, seeking 3.1 billion koruna ($164 million) in damages, the Czech unit of Spain’s Telefonica SA (TEF) said on its website yesterday.
