Kuwait Mobile-Phone Users Can Change Operators, Retain Numbers

Kuwait began a service enabling mobile-phone users to swap their local operators without changing their phone numbers, state-run news agency KUNA reported, citing Minister of Communication Salem Al-Utheina.

The country’s three mobile-phone companies, National Mobile Telecommunications Co., Mobile Telecommunications Co. and Kuwait Telecommunications Co., will provide this service, according to KUNA.
