Jordan Telecommunications Appoints Jean-Francois Thomas as CEO

Jordan Telecommunications Co., a unit of France Telecom SA, appointed Jean-Francois Thomas as chief executive officer, replacing Nayla Khawam whose term ends on Oct. 1.

Khawam will move to Paris and will be in charge of developing new business streams for telecommunications providers at France Telecom, Jordan Telecommunications said in an e-mailed statement. France Telecom owns 51 percent of Jordan Telecommunications, also known as Orange Jordan.
