Iran Can Work With IAEA If National Security Is Assured, TV Says

Iran is ready to cooperate with the International Atomic Energy Agency provided its national security isn’t imperiled, the country’s IAEA envoy said, according to Press TV.

“We are ready to cooperate with the IAEA without compromising our national security, provided that we are convinced efforts are aimed at finalizing Iran’s nuclear case, not pursuing a futile process,” Ali Asghar Soltanieh said in Vienna yesterday, the news channel reported today.

Soltanieh’s comments came in reaction to a resolution passed yesterday by the agency’s 35-member board of governors, Press TV said. The declaration expresses “serious concern” concern over Iran’s nuclear work.
