Incheon May Invest in Russia Far East Airports, Vedomosti Says

South Korea’s Incheon International Airport Corp. may gain a blocking stake in an airport holding company focused on Russia’s Far East in partnership with the Khabarovsk airport, Vedomosti said, citing Konstantin Basyuk, board chairman of the Khabarovsk, Russia airport.

The venture wants to buy Russian airports in Petropavlovsk- Kamchatka, Magadan, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk and may be awarded other airports by the state, Vedomosti said, citing a presentation from the airport.

Seoul airport already owns 10 percent of the Khabarovsk airport, Vedomosti said.
