GE Appoints Canan Ozsoy Chief Executive of Turkish Operations

General Electric Co. (GE) appointed Canan Ozsoy as chief executive and country chairwoman of its operations in Turkey, the company said.
Ozsoy, who replaced Kursat Ozkan, was the general manager of GE’s General Mammography operations before the appointment, the Fairfield, Connecticut-based company said in an e-mailed statement late yesterday.
Ozsoy, who will command a workforce of more than 600 in Turkey, is a graduate of the University of Istanbul Department of Dentistry and has an MBA from Bosphorus University of Istanbul, the company said.
