Italian Gasoline, Diesel Demand Dropped in August, Ministry Says

Italian fuel consumption declined in August versus a year earlier, according to data from the Ministry of Economic Development.

Gasoline demand tumbled 10.1 percent to 756,000 metric tons, while diesel use dropped 9.9 percent to 2.09 million tons, the data on the ministry’s website shows.
