Portugal’s DECO Reports 64% Jump in Requests for Help on Debts

The number of individuals that requested information on how to deal with over-indebtedness rose 64 percent in August from the previous month, the Portuguese Association for Consumer Protection said today.
A total of 524 people requested information from the consumer protection group, up from 320 in the previous month, DECO said in an e-mailed report.
