France’s Diesel, Gasoline Demand Fell in August, Group Says

Diesel and gasoline consumption in France fell in August from a year earlier, according to the Union Francaise des Industries Petrolieres, an industry group.

Gasoline demand dropped 5.7 percent in the period while diesel use declined by 1.3 percent, the group, known as UFIP, said today in an e-mailed statement.
